Dengue fever is a tropical disease caused by the Aedes mosquito-borne dengue virus. Symptoms of dengue fever usually occur within three to fifteen days of being infected with the virus through Aedes mosquito bites. Symptoms include fever, headache, vomiting, muscle and joint pain, and rash on the skin. Patients usually recover within two to seven days.

In some cases, the disease can take the form of severe hemorrhage called dengue hemorrhagic fever. This results in bleeding decreased levels of blood molecule and decreased blood plasma. In some cases, dengue shock syndrome occurs. So you should consult a doctor without delay if you have a fever. But any fever is not dengue fever. This fever may vary from day 1 to day 10 in different tests.

It is difficult to say with certainty that dengue did not occur if NS1 was negative. There are many other tests with dengue antigens or antibodies, which are important.

So in the end it can be said that controlling mosquito breeding is not easy. In fact, effective and sustainable prevention measures must involve local people in dengue control activities.
